1. Service description

Mitad is a Chilean platform that facilitates the organization and automatic billing of shared digital subscriptions between verified users. Mitad is not a subscription provider: it acts as an intermediary between group owners (hosts) and members, handling payments, credentials, and communications.

2. Accounts and verification

To use Mitad you must create an account with a valid email and complete identity verification (Chilean RUT and phone) before publishing or joining groups. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.

3. Payments and renewals

Charges are made monthly via Flow. By joining a group you authorize recurring charges while your membership is active. Mitad applies an 8% commission on each member's share. The owner receives the monthly payout to their registered Chilean bank account.

4. Group rules

Groups must correspond to plans that allow multiple users according to the provider's terms (family, team, household plans). Creating groups for individual subscriptions is prohibited. The owner is responsible for ensuring the plan supports the published number of members.

  • Only multi-user or family plans that explicitly allow it.
  • The owner must keep the subscription active while members exist.
  • Transferring or reselling slots outside the platform is not allowed.

5. Vault and credentials

Credentials are stored AES-256 encrypted in the Mitad vault. Members can only reveal them using a one-time OTP code sent to their email or phone. Sharing credentials outside the platform or taking screenshots of the vault is prohibited.

6. Cancellations and refunds

You can leave a group from your dashboard at any time; charges stop at the end of the active period. If the owner cancels or lets the group become inactive, Mitad suspends future charges and handles proportional refunds where applicable.

7. Prohibited conduct

Fraudulent use, identity impersonation, platform abuse, unauthorized access to other accounts, bot usage, and any conduct that affects the security or integrity of the service are all prohibited.

  • Creating groups with plans not authorized for shared use.
  • Sharing credentials outside the Mitad vault.
  • Evading payments through arrangements outside the platform.
  • Abusing the dispute system.

8. Limitation of liability

Mitad acts as an intermediary and does not guarantee the continuous availability of third-party subscriptions. In case of access disputes, Mitad applies its Trust Promise policy. Mitad's liability is limited to the value of charges for the affected period.
